Medford school board splits on a name, image, likeness rule change
Resident Dwayne Parkinson addressed the school board during the public participation portion of the meeting urging them to put a focus on academic excellence. “Our high school is outperformed by half the schools in the state,” he said. He said board members need to ask themselves how any changes would increase test scores and student success. “We are delivering below average results,” he said, encouraging the board to revamp its committees instead of going through the motion of parliamentary procedure.
