ABBOTSFORD LIONS CLUB
The Abbotsford Lions club is changing the start time for its meetings to 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
CLARK COUNTY STRONG BODIES
The UW Extension of Clark County will be hosting a 10 week strength training class on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:3010:30 a.m. starting September 9. The classes will be held at the Loyal Library at 214 N Main Street.

ABBOTSFORD HOPE CENTER
The Hope Center in Abbotsford is offering free English lessons on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. There are also free Spanish lessons on Thursdays from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
To participate in the classes, students must register at www.hopecenter.space. To join via Zoom during class, text 715316-4466. The Hope Center is also hosting a worship service at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
CLARK COUNTY CLEAN SWEEP
Save the date and your plastic for Friday, Sept. 6. Clark County Clean Sweep is happening from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Clark County Highway department in Owen and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Clark County Fairgrounds in Neillsville. Acceptable plastics are silage bags, grain bags, bunker covers (no reinforced material), and greenhouse film. Agriculture chemicals and pesticides are also being collected. There is no charge for under 200 lbs. Contact the UW-Extension office at 715-743-5122 for recapture bags to store and collect plastics. ST. MARY FALL FESTIVAL
On Sunday, Sept. 8 St. Mary’s will be hosting a Fall Festival. The grounds open at 10:30 a.m. Mass starts at 10:30 a.m., as well as a chicken and ham dinner, which includes: chicken, dressing, potatoes, ham, carrots, rolls, and your choice of delicious homemade pies. Price for dinner: Adults $12; Children (12 & under) - $5; Preschool - free. Drive up is available. There will be an outdoor auction starting at 1 p.m. with other activities to follow. Beer and pop stands open all afternoon.

Join the Christ Lutheran Church of Abbotsford and others at 308 West Linden Street for a great night of music and praise on Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Everyone welcome.
COLBY COMMUNITY LIBRARY
The Colby Community Library and Colby Rural Arts Museum presents Mark Moran Antiques Appraisals on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Colby Community Library. Mark Moran, antiques appraiser from Iola, Wisconsin, is the author or co-author of more than 25 books on antiques and collectibles. He was a guest expert with the PBS program Antiques Roadshow, for nine seasons. Pre-registration is required.
