On November 2, at 1:41 a.m. a vehicle operated by Donavon Acker, 22, of Medford, was southbound on CTH Q in the town of Medford, when it entered the west ditch, striking a driveway embankment and continuing striking a mailbox at N3573 CTH Q owned by Nicole Jari. The vehicle then overturned several times before coming to a rest facing a northerly direction on its drivers side. According to the crash report, Acker was not using a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and was transported by ambulance to Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics with suspected serious injuries. Acker was cited for operating while under the influence, non-registration of auto, and failure to keep vehicle under control. The vehicle, a green 2001 Ford Mustang Coupe, was towed with disabling damage. CTH Q was closed from 1:50 a.m. until 3:03 a.m. as law enforcement, tow truck, fire and ambulance vehicles responded.
