A live dinosaur puppet show will be held on Saturday at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. as well as a craft sale at South First Street from 2 - 8 p.m. on Saturday. Set up for the event will run from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. with no early take downs.
The weekend will be capped off by a parade on Sunday, June 4 beginning at 1:30 p.m. The parade line-up will begin at noon and will start on Second Avenue, west of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. There were be trophies awarded for first, second and third place entries.
The Abbotsford FFA Alumni, along with Midwest Sidewalls LLC of Curtiss will be hosting the 34th annual Abbotsford Dairy Breakfast on Sunday, June 4.
Midwest Sidewalls is located at 213 Circle Drive in Curtiss and will be hosting its first dairy breakfast.
The breakfast will begin at 7 a.m. and run until noon with a shuttle being available to transfer attendees between the Abbotsford School District’s south parking lot and the farm. Attendees will be served a breakfast containing pancakes, maple syrup and butter, sausage, applesauce, a variety of sliced cheese, cheese curds, white and chocolate milk, orange juice, coffee, cookies and ice cream.
There will be a charge for attendees ages 6 - adult while children ages 5 and under will be given free admittance. Live, on-site radio broadcasts will be heard throughout the morning and a variety of raffle and door prizes will be given away.
