On March 30, at 10:03 a.m., a vehicle operated by William Cahoon, 34, of Medford, was eastbound on Hwy 64 when it struck a buggy operated by Eli Glick, 21, of Gilman, from behind. The Cahoon vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end and the buggy was destroyed. The horse was dispatched by a nearby resident prior to law enforcement arrival. Glick was transported from the scene by ambulance to Aspirus Medford Hospital with suspected serious injuries. Cahoon was cited for speeding in 55 mph zone (1-10 mph) and inattentive driving.
