Lake Holcombe was on the road to New Auburn, for a girls basketball match Feb. 9, where scoring turned out to be a problem for the visiting Chieftains.
Held to just 10 points in the first half, Lake Holcombe struggled to regain their footing, but to no avail, as the Trojans took a 51-29 win.
Leading for Lake Holcombe, was junior Chloe Lee, with 9 points, followed by freshman Payton Birkenholz, with 7, while senior Emma Lechleitner was right behind, with 6. Junior Abby Jones came next, with 4 points, with freshman Katya Kuc adding 2 and freshman Maria Andres completing a free throw.
