Randall M. Holtman

We are sad to announce the passing of Randall M. Holtman, 74, Cadott, who passed away peacefully, at his home, Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023.

Randall was born in Marshfield, July 1, 1949, to Elmer and Alice Holtman.

He married Betty (Dearth), having two children, Michael and Jeffrey, in a marriage lasting over 30 years. Later, he remarried Violet (Schofield), in 2008, until her passing, Dec. 13, 2015.

Randall served his country in the Marines, in Vietnam, and had an honorable discharge. He was a member of Cadott VFW for several years. He was always proud of being a Marine, until his last days.

Randall was an active member of Cadott United Methodist Church and he was a man who loved the Lord.

He is survived by his two sons – Michael (Lori), Cadott, and Jeffrey (Kim), Portland, Ore.; his two grandchildren – Justin, Menomonie, and Amber (Danny), Cadott; five great-grandchildren – Cashtyn, Barrett, Aria, Kagomi and Verlyn; two half-sisters – Darla (Brian), Stratford, and Lois (Kevin), Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother – Terrance; sister – Carol; wife – Violet; and his granddaughter – Ashlee.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, with a visitation from 10-11 a.m., with a short service to follow, at Cadott United Methodist Church..

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin, in Altoona, is assisting the family.
