Cornell sees Trojans walk off with victory

Despite a size advantage, New Auburn had a tough time when they paid a visit to Cornell Dec. 20, for a boys basketball match-up. The conference game was close throughout the first half, with the Chiefs taking a two-point lead into halftime on their home court.

“We executed our motion offense better than the previous game,” said coach Steve Parker.

Cornell also passed the ball better, finishing with 11 assists, and out-rebounded New Auburn, as well as attacking the basket, getting shots in the paint and drawing fouls, with 22 free throw attempts).
