Chiefs fall to the Raiders

It was off to Bruce for a conference game Sept. 30, where the Cornell football squad looked to pick up their first win this year.
Things looked promising in the first quarter, as the score was locked at 6-6. But by the second quarter, Bruce added 12 points to the board, as opposed to Cornell’s six.
Coming out of the break, the Raiders’ offense kicked in, bringing in 24 points, while the Chiefs were held to 14. Both teams got on the board once more in the fourth quarter, scoring eight points each.
Before they could muster the offense for a final attack, time ran out on Cornell and the game went to Bruce, 50-34.
Junior Daniel Person led with 60 yards passing for the Chiefs, as well as 60 yards rushing, while senior Dylan Bowe notched 225 yards rushing on the night and 19 yards receiving.
Sophomore Andrew Person ended with 13 yards on rushing and 2 yards in receiving, with senior Dawson Munson coming up with 39 yards receiving.
