Cadott’s softball program didn’t have luck over the week, when facing off with their conference foes.

May 2 vs. McDonell conference (l 15-0)

In the first game of a double-header, the Hornets hosted McDonell, but the offense wasn’t there for the home team. Cadott came up with only four hits on the day, while the Macks drove in 15 runs to take a shut-out victory over the Hornets.

Sophomore Kasey Moldrem was on the mound for Cadott, going four innings, while allowing 9 hits, 15 runs and 10 walks, with 4 strikeouts.

The Thunder struck first, with two runs in the opening inning. Cadott answered back with a run in their side of the inning and with another in the second and third.

The Thunder also added a run in the third, as well as one in the fourth inning and the fifth, while Cadott came up with their final run in the fifth inning. Osseo would go on to score three runs in the sixth and six in the seventh inning, to claim a 14-4 victory.
