Those passing through Holcombe, looking for a sweet stop or a quick energy boost, are in luck.

Lakeside Nutrition is located right off State Hwy. 27 in the Magic Salons building, and officially opened June 1.

Jodi Rosseter and her daughter, Kylee, offer Herbalife teas and shakes through the business, and invite people to stop in and try the offerings.

“I’ve been on and off Herbalife for about three years,” said Rosseter, adding she has consistently used the products since November 2021.

She lost 30 pounds using Herbalife so far and is continuing with her weight loss journey. Rosseter says she hopes others will join her on that journey.

The shakes serve as a complete meal, with each shake between 200 and 250 calories, and 24 grams of protein.

“It’s a great meal replacement if you’re trying to bulk up or lose weight,” said Rosseter.

The teas offered at Lakeside Nutrition are meant to boost metabolism and give energy.

“Both the teas and shakes, have vitamins and minerals,” said Rosseter.

There are also options to add extra protein, fiber or probiotics to the drinks.

Right now, Lakeside Nutrition is also offering teas with a pop. Popping pearls can be e added to the drinks, which release a fruity flavor when they break open, depending on which flavor is chosen.

Rosseter says they plan on doing wellness challenges and offers wellness profiles, as well as three-day trials of the Herbalife products.

She says the idea of opening a shop has always been in the back of her mind, and when the right time and place presented itself, she decided to take the jump. Dawn Brisky, owner of Magic Salons, was ready to step back from the teas and shakes she offered through her own business, and Rosseter took over.

“It kind of went from there,” said Rosseter. She says they had to do some remodeling, so they would have their own four walls and door, off from the salon.

The location offers the added bonus of sharing a building with a fitness center, tanning and a salon.

“If you’re really into losing weight, getting fit, having a fitness center right there and being able to go get a protein shake right after, is great,” said Rosseter.

Lakeside Nutrition is regularly open Tuesdays through Fridays, from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Rossetter says there are pop-up hours on weekends and Mondays, which are posted on the business’ Facebook page, @LHLakeside.
