Cornell runs over Panthers

The year ended well for the Cornell girls basketball program, as Gilmanton called on the Chiefs Dec. 29, in a non-conference bout.
“The girls had a great night,” said coach Courtney Yanko. “They shared the ball well, they were aggressive both on offense and defense.
Proving no match for Cornell, the Panthers couldn’t muster an offense and watched the game go to the Chiefs, 55-21.
Leading for the Chiefs, was senior Kelsea Popp, with 12 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 assists, with junior Makya Hetherington scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and an assist. Following that, was junior Grace Harycki, who had 11 points, 2 rebounds and a steal.
