Chiefs can’t topple powerhouse Panthers

By Ginna Young Cornell headed to Prairie Farm Jan. 6, for a hard-fought conference game between the girls basketball programs. The Panthers limited Cornell to just seven points in the first half, outscoring the Chiefs by 21 points. Cornell’s offense kicked in for the second half of the game, but Prairie Farm continued to rack up points on the scoreboard. In the end, the match went to the Panthers, 64-23, giving Cornell a record of 4-8 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
