Crash rerports

Matthew J. Siroin, 20, of Medford, was traveling southbound on Hwy 13, in the city of Medford, on December 21, at 5:12 p.m. Scott Allen Niewold, 62, of Gilman was a short distance behind Siroin. Both drivers stated there was a third non-contact vehicle ahead of Siroin’s vehicle. The non-contact vehicle made an abrupt lane change. Siroin made an abrupt maneuver to avoid striking the vehicle. Siroin moved in front of Niewold’s vehicle. Niewold was unable to stop due to the shortened distance and struck the rear of Siroin’s vehicle.

Angelica L. Reinke, 35, of Medford, was backing out of a driveway, located at 529 N. 2nd St., on December 22, at 9 a.m., in the city of Medford. Reinke struck a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Susanne E. Conner, of Medford. Reinke stated that she didn’t see Conner’s vehicle on the road.

Slater Allen Piller, 17, of Medford, was backing out of a parking space in the Walmart parking lot on December 23, at 6:06 p.m. Shannon John Kraucyk, 49, of Medford, was traveling through the aisle. Kraucyk tried to maneuver around/behind Piller’s vehicle. Piller struck the rear corner of Kraucyk’s vehicle.

Alan Morraco Whetstone, 48, of Stetsonville, was stopped at the intersection of Shiner Dr. and 6th Ave., facing west, on December 21, at 3:37 p.m., in the town of Roosevelt. Whetstone didn’t observe Jason Michael Goessl, 33, of Abbotsford, traveling north on 6th Ave. Whetstone made a left turn onto 6th Ave. Goessl was unable to stop hitting the back driver’s side of Whetstone’s vehicle. Whetstone was issued a citation for failure to yield a right of way. Goessl’s vehicle was towed due to disabling damage. Goessl was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Matthew Wayne Foate, 62, of Hortonville, was stopped on Landall Ave., on December 22, at 12:53 p.m., in the village of Rib Lake. Lester Daniel Fliehs, 65, of Rib Lake, was backing up west on Landall Ave., behind Foate’s vehicle. Fliehs’s vehicle backed into Foate’s vehicle.

Carrie Mayhone, 38, of Marshfield, was backing out of a parking space on December 23, at 12:50 p.m. A vehicle driven by Jane Brunner, 48, of Medford, was parked. Mayhone’s vehicle backed into Brunner’s vehicle while pulling out of the parking space, causing no damage to Mayhone’s vehicle. Minor scratches and cracks to the front passenger side bumper and grill were done to Brunner’s vehicle.

Kristienne A. Harris, 26, of Abbotsford, was traveling on Hwy 13, on December 22, at 6 p.m., in the town of Little Black. David J. Scott, 53, of Woodstock, IL, was also traveling on Hwy 13, approaching the CTH O intersection, driving a semi truck owned by Roehl Transport, of Gary, IN. Scott slowed and almost came to a stop to make a left hand turn. Due to the icy road conditions, Harris attempted to stop and began to slide due to the ice and snow. Harris swerved to avoid hitting the trailer entirely. The passenger side of Harris’ vehicle made contact with the rear driver’s side corner of the trailer of Scott’s vehicle. There was no damage done to Scott’s vehicle and some functional damage done to Harris’ vehicle.

Michael Melvin Arthur Ecklund, 38, of Medford, was traveling westbound on CTH M, west of Kleutsch Rd., on December 23, at 6:28 a.m., in the town of Molitor. A tree was down in the west bound lane on CTH M, and Ecklund’s vehicle struck the tree causing functional damage.

Tatum Sandra Ziembo, 17, of Medford, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 64, on December 23, at 6:55 p.m., in the city of Medford. Ziembo stated that another vehicle pulled out ahead of her from Park Ave. She hit the brakes but due to slippery road conditions, extreme cold and blowing snow, her vehicle slid, lost control and struck an overhead light pole.

Makayla Riley Carle, 21, of Marshfield, was traveling eastbound on Elm Dr., on December 23, at 9:33 a.m., in the town of Little Black. Carle lost control of the vehicle due to icy road conditions and entered the south ditch upright, facing east. Vehicle was towed but not due to disabling damage.

Jayne Elmyra Dulian, 59, of Chippewa Falls, was traveling south on CTH D, on December 21, at 11:08 a.m., in the town of Little Black. Dulian attempted to stop at the intersection and was unable to stop due to ice on the roadway. Dulian’s vehicle hit the guard rail coming to a stop. Vehicle was towed but not due to disabling damage.
