Hornets plunder Vikings

It was all Cadott on the football field Sept. 2, as the Hornets hosted Colfax in a conference match-up. Cadott scored two touchdowns in the opening quarter, and one in each of the following quarters, while the Vikings only managed to put up six points in the fourth quarter.

With the large lead, Cadott had nothing to fear and took the win, 35-6, extending their season record to 3-0.

Senior Tristan Drier was at the helm for the Hornets, recording 23 passing yards and 21 yards on rushing. Junior Easton Goodman notched 77 yards on rushing, followed by senior Nick Fasbender, with 72, and senior Tegan Ritter, with 67.

Junior Connor Roth was next, with 32 yards on rushing, junior Ashton Bremness had 16 and junior Nolan Blum chipped in 15. Blum also had 19 yards receiving and came up with a sack on defense. Junior Wyatt Engel also came up big on defense, with 2 sacks, while senior Cole Pfeiffer and junior Brodee Burish each had a sack.
