Knights improving with each time on the course

By Ginna Young

It’s been a slow start on the course for the Cornell-Lake Holcombe Knights Golf team, but they were able to get two matches in over the week.

April 28 Home Meet

Hosting a meet in Holcombe, the Knights were ready to put wet, muddy conditions away and focus on their shots. Junior Olivia Keiser carded a 66 on the day, while junior Elliott Peterson scored a 75.

“Both golfers improved from last week’s match, and are excited to compete next week, with goals of shaving a few strokes off their scores again,” said coach Megan Bitney. Coach (Dewayne) Mosley and I are happy to see their improvement already, with only being on the course for two short weeks, and are excited to see how far they can go this season.”
