Knights bow in away contest with Evergreens

On a windy day, the Cornell-Lake Holcombe softball team hit the road for a conference match-up with Northwood-Solon Springs April 12. However, the Knights struggled to put any runs on the scoreboard and saw the game go to the Evergeens, 15-0.

The Knights only had 2 hits on the day, belonging to junior Rachel Schilling and sophomore Brooke Anderson, while Anderson also had a walk.

Anderson also pitched three innings, giving up 11 hits and 14 runs, while walking 4 and striking out 1. Freshman Izabelle Schwingle went one inning, allowing 3 hits and 1 run, and striking out 1.
