Ruth Evelyn Hall Ferrer

On year ago, Feb. 28, 2021, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend of all, Ruth Evelyn Hall Ferrer, went to be with our Lord. She passed away of natural causes at the age of 90.

Ruth was a graduate of Cornell High School, Class of 1948.

She is the mother of Trudi Nelson (Glenn), Robin Connell (Greg), Gary Lompa, John Skrypek, Barbara Skrypek and Joseph Ferrer (Jennifer). Her grandchildren are Dawn Stauss (Joel), Heather Nelson, Julian Connell, Ryan Andrews (Tyler), Mikey Vaia, Shane Skrypek, Justin Cobb (Amanda), Jackie Menes (David) and Raine Ferrer.

Ruth’s great-grandchildren include Carissa Vazquez (Michael), Austin Strauss, Elijah Nelson, Isaiah Nelson, Ada Cobb and Luna Menes.

She is survived by her siblings – Viola Obregon (John), Harold Hall (Fern) and David Gilbert, and all of their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister – Nellie Heamann.

Ruth was a good, kind, hardworking and loving, mother and grandmother. She always provided every need her children had as they were growing up, even when she couldn’t afford it; she always found a way.

She is greatly missed and loved by us all. Her work here was completed. Our lives are not the same without her with us.
