Cornell comes up a little short against Greenwood

Greenwood came to call on Cornell, Dec. 20, for some non-conference action before the winter break.

The Chiefs’ offense fell behind Greenwood in the first half, but coach Courtney Yanko wasn’t going to give up the game without a fight. Cornell bounced back in the second half, to outscore Greenwood, 26-23.

However, with the deficit from the first half, the Chiefs ran out of time to take the lead and watched the game go to the visitors, 54-47.
