Chiefs lanced by Immanuel

The Cornell girls basketball program headed to E.C. Immanuel Nov. 23, for a non-conference showdown, where the Lancers jumped out ahead early on.

Cornell was outscored 39-7 in the first half and couldn’t make a comeback offensively in the second half. The Chiefs held their opponents to just 21 points in the remainder of the game, but watched the win go to the Lancers, 60-13.

Leading for Cornell, was junior Kelsea Popp, with 8 points, followed by freshman Bralee Schroeder, who had 3, and sophomore Grace Harycki, with 2.
