Greenwood High School classes of 1960-1961 hold joint reunion

The classes of 1960 and 1961 of Greenwood High School held a combined reunion on Oct. 9 at Parkway Pines in Greenwood. The committee welcomed everyone, followed by a moment of silence for the deceased members of each class.

The deceased members of the Class of 1960 are: Lavern (Abel) Martens, William Boh, James Boyer, Jack Buker,Larry Gallant, Frank Gasparac, Bill Hribar. Eugene Jarozenko, Evelyn (Kippenhan) Cram, Harvey LaMarr, Florence (LeDuc) Larson, Art Lindner, Peter Meke, Roger Nielsen, Al O’Brien, Angie (Tolaney) O’Brien, Gust Paschke, Joe Pastor, Bill Petkovsek, Jim Rust, Bob Scheuerman, Luanne (Syth) Nandwana, Del Toburen, John Tomac, Carol (Turnquist) Crusenberry, Jim Ulesich and Jim Waldhart.

The deceased members of the Class of 1961 are: Frank Clouse, Ted Fetting, Francis Hinker, Willie Horvat, Warren Jackson, Jim Kessler, Ethel (Kippenhan) Zink, Val Krainz, Kathy (McConnell) Worth, Jim Much, Jerry Peterson, Ed Petkovsek, Mike Plautz, Orrin Poier, Carol (Schofield) Lang, Bill Seliskar, Dave Weber, Allan Wessel, and Dave Worden.

Classmates and spouses from the Class of 1960 attending the reunion from Wisconsin were as follows; Jack and Betty (Horvat) Abel; Joyce (Albert) Bulgrin, Dan Deegan, Richard and Margie Hagen, Ron and Janice Hribar; Donna (Krultz) Reineke, Gary and Jeanette Oswald, Joe and Karen Tolaney, Hilda (Turnquist) Dennison, John and Luziminda Verhunce, and Diane (Wuethrich) Mattes. And from Texas, Fran and Nita Herr.

Classmates and spouses from the Class of 1961 attending the reunion from Wisconsin were as follows; Janis (Abel) Priewe, Corrine (Denk) Liebzeit, Carole (Dillenbeck) Toburen, Dorothy (Fredrickson) Goodman, Bob and Nancy (Gregorich) Moseley, Elmer and Jill Noah, Lionel and Louise Olson, Roger and Diane (Liebzeit) Standiford, Irv Timmler, Judy Volovsek and Dawn (Wuethrich) Stump. And from Minnesota were Gloria (Celesnik) Plautz and Gerald Olson.
