Chieftains drop close match-up on the road

Lake Holcombe’s football squad headed to Almond-Bancroft for a showdown Sept. 17, on a clear, but chilly night.

While the Chieftains fought a hard battle, coming very close to the win, it was the home team who came up with bragging rights.

The Chieftains saw the game go to Almond-Bancroft, 22-18.
