Lions Club meets
The Stratford Lions Club held its June meeting.
Stratford Lion scholarships of $500 each were awarded to the following Stratford High School students: Mikayla Guldan, Maria Schoenfuss and Tristan Wirkus.
The club bought a year’s subscription of Readers Digest for residents at Stratford North Elder Estates.
On campus
UW-Stevens Point has announced its honor roll for the spring 2021 semester. Fulltime undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.
Stratford students awarded highest honors are seniors Katie Krueger and Olympia Garrigan. Senior Trenton Heckel received high honors. Students awarded honors include sophomores Heaven Bento, Vaughn Breit, Maggie Stangl and Angellia Verdone and seniors Dahlia Gross and Remington Mueller.
Lauren Dillinger of Stratford, a senior in studio art and art education, was awarded to the UW-Stout dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
Marquette University in Milwaukee has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.7 or above. Stratford students on the list include Adiah Balz in biomedical sciences and Sierra Jones in strategic communication.
Calli Drexler of Stratford has earned semester honors for the spring 2021 semster at Edgewood College in Madison.
UW-Green Bay has announced students receiving honors for the spring 2021 semester. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors goes to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages, and honors is given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50.
Kaylee Hollatz of Stratford earned highest honors, Kaylee Guldan high honors and Anna Carl-Brusky honors.
Winona State University in Minnesota has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Stratford students on the list include Callie Lehman, Chandler Schmidt and Tanner Weinfurtner.
Boys basketball camp
The Stratford boys basketball program is holding summer camps on Monday through Thursday, July 12-15 for elementary, middle and high school students.
There is a cost to attend the camps in the high school gym. Parents should either call 715-897-2900 or e-mail curt@stratford.k12.wi.us to obtain a Stratford boys basketball camp enrollment form for their children.
