Hornets send two to Sectional competition
Facing off against seven other schools at the Amery Golf Course, the Cadott golf program competed in Regionals to see if they could advance in the playoffs. The Hornets’ hopes didn’t pan out and the team placed sixth in the standings.
“Our team did not perform well and did not advance to Sectionals,” said coach Scott Christenson.
Cadott did send two golfers on to individual Sectionals – senior Cole Sopiarz and sophomore Peter Weir, who carded 94 and 97, respectively. Junior Ethan Foldy scored 106 for the Hornets, with junior Jacob Ackley right behind, with a 108. Junior Sam Scheidler finished with a score of 117.
