A dozen members of Medford’s Rainbow Gymnastics Club competed last weekend in the 2022 Wisconsin AAU Championships, which were held at the Omni Center in Onalaska. The gymnasts all competed individually as no level had the required three entrants to create a team score. In Level 6, Raylin Rothmeier earned a second-place overall finish in 13-year-old age group with 34.95 all-around points.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) remind the public to Fight the Bite by protecting themselves from tick bites that may lead to Lyme disease or other illnesses spread by ticks. Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread by deer ticks, which can be as small as a poppy seed. Deer ticks are common in Wisconsin
