1929-2021 Lucille J. Draeger, 91, of Medford, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital in Medford. In her spare time Lucille enjoyed sewing, crafts, quilting, cooking, and feeding her family and friends. She and Harvey also enjoyed taxiing the Amish. Lucille is survived by her sons, David Westrich of Chiefland, Fla., Bill (Vicki) Draeger of Gilman, and Tom (Kelly) Draeger of Rochester, Minn.; five daughters, Marge Draeger of Mesa, Ariz., Bessie Draeger and Gloria (Steve) Lindahl, both of Medford, Suzi (Duane) Haugen of Madison, Minn., and Diane (Boyd) Vircks of Crawley, Texas; 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and great-greatgrandchildren. Lucille is further survived by her sisters, Rita Emmerich of Medford, Carol Meyer of Rib Lake, and Eleanor Olszewski, and other family and friends. In addition to her parents; and husband, Lucille was preceded in death by 13 siblings; daughter, Laura Draeger; sons, Raymond and Harvey Jr. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Lucille’s name may be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Tamara “Tammy” A. Henrichs


1961-2021 Tamara “Tammy” A. Henrichs, 59, passed away on Tuesday, Apr. 27, 2021 under the care of Hope Hospice after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Funeral services for Tammy will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Patrick McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Visitation will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 26 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tammy was born on Oct. 17, 1961 in Medford, the daughter of Elizabeth “Betty” and John “Jack” Metz. She attended Medford Public Schools and graduated from Medford Area Senior High in 1979. After graduation Tammy attended Pivot Point Academy in Stevens Point. She was a cosmetologist in Minneapolis, Stevens Point, and Madison for many years. In 1985 Tammy married and later divorced. She resided in Tammy had an amazing love for animals, especially her kitties. She also enjoyed music, theater and the fine arts, boating, snowmobiling, going “up north” and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Italy and her many yearly trips to Florida with her mom and sisters. She was a huge Packers and Badgers football fan and was very fortunate to go to many games through the years. Tammy will be dearly missed by her loving family. Survivors include, her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Metz of Appleton; siblings, Tina (Rodney) Dahl and Michael (Sue) Metz, both of Medford, Marc (Connie) Metz of Weston, and Torie (Bob Peterson) Walters of Waukesha; nieces and nephews, Taryn Metz, Morgan Dahl, Emily, Elizabeth and Hannah Metz, Trevor Dahl, Alan Metz, Derek, Dustin and Devan Dahl. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. 1953-2020 Louise Ann Komanec, 67, of Woodbury, Minn., died on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Gilman along with inurnment in Meadowbrook Catholic Cemetery with Father Vijay Kumar Madani officiating. Visitation will be one hour buyer for the Medial Book Store and finally promoted as the Manager of their Health Science Bookstore of where she retired after 40 years of service. She loved coming back to Gilman to visit her parents along with her siblings and her many loved nieces and nephews who she so enjoyed. Some of her hobbies were traveling, cooking, sewing, and listening to music. One of her most memorable trips abroad was her second trip to Czechoslovakia with her father in 1994. She and her father would reminisce about their travels through the country and of all the distant family members they were able to meet. Louise is survived by her siblings, Joe (Lynne) Komanec, John Komanec, Rose Komanec and Tina (Roger) Nichols all of Gilman and George (Roxanne) Komanec of Bloomer; a brother-in-law, Jeff Ahlers of Chippewa Falls; and many nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Joanne Ahlers; sister-in-law, Donna Komanec; a nephew, Brent; and a niece, Krystal. She was born on April 19, 1953 at the Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Prasnicky) Komanec. Louise grew up in the Gilman area and graduated from Gilman High School in 1971. Louise went on to attend the District One Technical Institute in Eau Claire where she studied and completed the General Clerical one-year diploma program. She then moved to St. Paul, Minn. where she was employed by the University of Minnesota as a Data Entry Clerk. She was later promoted as their Paid Obituary 99496_2
