1978-2021 until June of 2021. While living in Eau Claire, Josh also served his church in building maintenance and grounds upkeep. He was an integral part of the church music team, serving as a worship team singer and leader. Those who knew Josh would always comment on his ready smile which he gave freely to everyone. Josh is survived by his wife, Liberty Solberg; his two children, Olivia and Joshua Koleton Solberg; his parents, Kenneth and Rose Solberg; his sister, Stacy (Jason) Steinhauer; his nieces, Sierra (Jake) Shilts; Sabrina Steinhauer; and nephew, Spencer (McKayla) Steinhauer; and great-niece, Phoebe; and greatnephew, Kelsey. The family wishes to thank St. Croix Hospice and the Marshfield Hospital and Clinic for their kind and loving support given to Josh and his family. Josh was especially grateful to St. Croix Hospice for making it possible for him to be home for his last days. Funeral services took place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at Pentecostal Assembly Church, 9 Ninth Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54703. Visitation took place from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, 2021 at Pentecostal Assembly Church and one hour prior to the funeral service Tuesday at the church. Committal service took place at Lakeview Cemetery immediately Joshua (Josh) John Solberg, 43, was received into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at his home in Eau Claire, surrounded by his wife and children after a valiant battle with cancer. Josh was born April 18, 1978 to Kenneth and Rose (Kiefer) Solberg in Neenah, Wis. He lived with his family in Menasha, Wis., until they moved to Medford in 1989. Josh graduated from Medford High School in 1996 and completed a degree as an electromechanical technician at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. Joshua and Liberty (McLean) Solberg were married in May of 2000 and welcomed their two children, Olivia and Joshua Koleton, while living in Medford. During this time, Josh worked for Weathershield Mfg. in his field, and was very involved in doing whatever was needed at his church. In 2010, Josh and his family relocated to Eau Claire. Alice Irene (Graf) Reuss


1932-2021 Alice Irene (Graf) Reuss, 89, Park Falls, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home. neighbors at Charles Hill Villa over the years meant a lot to her and her entire family. Our fond memories include endlessly reusing paper towels and aluminum foil, recycling wrapping paper, the Christmas scramble to decipher which gift goes to which misnamed or misspelled grandchild, and a stubborn independence that saw her through very difficult times. She is survived by her children, Roberta (Charles, Jr.) Hanninen of North York, Eugene E. Hein of Park Falls, and Jeffrey (Dawn) Hein of Medford. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Graf; mother, Loretta (Olson, Graf) Mackey; stepfather, Robert Mackey; sister, Arlene Grage; and loving husband, Victor Brandecki. Also, by former husbands, Eugene L. Hein and Harold (Jack) Reuss. Our family would like to thank the members of Marshfield Medical Center, Inclusa, and Supportive Home Services, all in Park Falls, as well as her many other helpers from Price County and other resources, for their years of loving care and support to Mother. She was the rock upon which all of our lives were built, and she will always be remembered as a loving mother and doting grandparent. Rest well Mother. In keeping with her wishes there will not be a public funeral service. She will be interred at Union Cemetery, Butternut, Wisconsin. She was born on April 5, 1932, during the great depression, in Rib Lake, the daughter of Loretta M. (Olson) Graf and Albert H. Graf. She led a long life of service to her children and family and was a treasured friend to everyone she knew. She was a do-it-yourselfer long before the current trend and enjoyed the work of building, improving and maintaining her various homes over the years. She enjoyed her vegetable gardens and flowerbeds and was gifted with exceptional skill at knitting and crocheting, supplying many happy family members and friends with her creations. In her younger years she especially enjoyed roller skating and kicking up her heels to a fast polka dance. She enjoyed the opportunity of many years of traveling with her best friend and cousin, Marcy, and the stories of their many adventures will always be treasured. She enjoyed going to the casino, a fine meal, holiday celebrations, and visits from friends and family. The companionship of her friends and

1935-2021 Funeral services for James will take place at 12 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Pastor James Langebartels officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. James was born on Sept. 9, 1935 to Frank and Winafred (Wehrmann) Erdman in Rib Lake. He attended Fawn Valley School in Rib Lake. After schooling, he worked on the family farm. He then went to work for Gem Products, until its closing. He then worked from Black River Industries. He also worked as a logger, peeling poplar. James enjoyed the outdoors, including picking berries, cutting wood, and smoking his pipe or cigars. James was known in Rib Lake for riding his bike for his transportation needs, to ride out to the farm and back to his trailer house. James would meet the Greyhound bus at the Blue Royal, at the corner of Highway 13 and 102, to travel to Milwaukee or other places, when that service was available. James liked music, polkas, waltzes, and Johnny Cash. James is survived by his nieces, Tammy (Paul) Bergeson of Wausau and Brenda (Tracy) Lewis of Pewaukee; nephews, Allen and Randy Christianson, both of Rib Lake, Burt (Lauren) Bartelt of Big Bend, and Brad (Karen Haack) Bartelt of New Berlin; brother-in-law, Bernard Bartelt of New Berlin. James is further survived by other family and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Christianson and Bernice Bartelt; brother- in-law, Du Wayne Christianson. 1940-2021 Loretta Ann Prasnicki, 80 of Richmond, Ky., formerly of Gilman, died Tuesday, July 6, 2021 with her family by her side. She was born on November 29, 1940, at the family home near Lublin to the late Frank and Eleanor (Krochmal) Sromek. Loretta grew up in the Gilman area until 8th grade when her family moved to Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from St. John Cantius High School in 1957 and worked for Ohio Bell for 19 years as a long-distance operator and supervisor. Loretta married Martin Prasnicki on February 7, 1976, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio. The couple resided just west of Gilman and farmed together until their retirement in 2013. Loretta enjoyed painting, gardening, and baking. She taught catechism at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman and enjoyed helping with many church functions. Before her marriage to Martin, Loretta enjoyed traveling to various U.S. destinations, such as Alaska & Hawaii. She was a devoted wife and loved her family immensely. She is survived by her daughter Mary (Steven) Davis of Richmond, Ky.; her step-children Susan Dailey of Rochester, Minn., Lorie (Jimmy) Gwiazdon and Cheryl (Randy) Boone both of Eau Claire; her grandchildren Savannah Davis, Colin (Christa) Boone, Caylee Boone and Ryan (Katrina) Gwiazdon; one great-grandchild Ottilie Boone; one brother Gene (Lillian) Sromek of Brook Park, Ohio; and a sister-inlaw, Mary Sromek of North Royalton, Ohio. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Martin (2016); a granddaughter Alexandra Davis; her stepson Gary Prasnicki; her sister Jeanette Sromek; and her brother Edward Sromek. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Gilman with Father Vjay Kumar Madani officiating. Inurnment will follow in Meadowbrook Catholic Cemetery-Gilman. hadrick 1942-2021 Donna M. Shadrick, 78, of the Township of Worcester, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Aspirus Hospital in Medford. Funeral services for Donna will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford chapel, with Pastor David Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Visitation will take place at Hemer Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Donna was born on July 27, 1942 to Reinhold and Evelyn (Schlais) Streibe in the town of Goodrich. She married Ernest F. Homer in July 1959 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 2009. She then married Robert Shadrick on Dec. 17, 2010 and he survives. After raising her children she worked various jobs before being employed at Tombstone for 30 years, until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her children, Rick (Brittany Shipp) Homer of Goodrich, Keith (Audrey) Homer of Little Black, and Mark Homer of Medford; grandchildren, Maria, Alyson (Brock) Thums, Dylon (Olivia McDermott) Homer , Jason (Amy) Homer, Zach, Mikie, Shawn, Hank, Frank, Chloe, and Maria (Maynard) Stange; great-grandchildren, Remmi, Rowan, Connor, Evelyn, Skylar, and Megan; sister, Diane (Mike Michelson) Behling of Rhinelander. She is further survived by other family and friends. In addition to her parents and first husband, Donna was preceded in death by her son Howard “Howie” Homer on Sept. 1, 1986; and brother, Harold Streibe. Interment followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake. was his whole world, along with his two girls, Addilynn and Emmalynn. Cody and Brittany were to be united in marriage on Dec. 31, 2021. He is survived by his fiancé Brittany Blair; two daughters, Addilynn and Emmalynn; mother, Michele (Mickey) Lekie; father, Todd (Paula) Weinke; brothers, Colter (Shianne) Weinke, Josh (Amber) Fallos, Tim (Amber) Fallos, and Eric Fallos; sister, Valerie (Ryan) Nelson; grandparents, Richard (Betty) Lekie, Randall (Priscila) Weinke; nephews, Zander, Zephlyn, and Jaxon; nieces, Zoey, Aurora, Isabella, and Ruby; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
