It’s been a dream of Annette Goettl’s for years, to have her own business and that dream has finally come true. After more vendor and craft fairs than you can count, Annette, along with her husband, Tony Goettl, and grown daughter, Michelle Jenneman, set up their new store space this fall, in Holcombe’s mini-mall.

Called Lake Front Treasure Shop, the small space at 26353 Cty. Hwy. 27, Suite D, has a little something for everyone. Why choose the location?

It just made sense to Annette, who lives in Boyd and works in Cadott.

“I just made a decision to come to Holcombe, because I’m originally from Cornell,” she said.

Open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the shop isn’t just one thing or another.

“We got used stuff and we got new stuff,” said Annette.

The shop offers novelty items, as well as paintings, candles, painted rocks, jewlery and even some clothing. In addition, there’s also furniture, seasonal decor and decorations, painted saw blades and wooden cutting boards, which are actually made from cutout pieces of kitchen counter.

“I go out looking for treasures that people would think, wow, she got something in here new, gotta go check it out,” said Annette.

Annette is looking for other consignment vendors, who can offer something not seen in other stores, such as small metal scultures and wood carvings.

“Something that usually nobody has,” said Michelle.

If anyone thinks they might have a product that would go well in the shop, they can contact Annette, at 715-313-306-0549 or lakefronttreasureshop@gmail.com In the meantime, the family invites everyone to stop in and see what’s there.

“We’ve been wanting to do this since I was 15,” said Michelle.
