With grocery prices on the rise, Cadott’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) want to ensure everyone in their community has enough to eat. That’s why the club is enlisting the junior/high and elementary students in helping with a food drive, Nov. 6 through Nov. 12.

Non-perishable food and hygiene items can be dropped off at the high school, during school hours, in care of the FBLA, while at the elementary, food donations can be directed to the Student Council.

Once all the collections are complete, the items will be taken to the Cadott Food Pantry for distribution. In addition to helping out their neighbors, the students get to take pride in their efforts and will be rewarded with a fun event.

“The winning homeroom gets root beer floats,” said FBLA adviser Erin Pilgrim.
