The Loyal Area Historical Society’s annual “Home for Christmas” event planned for Dec. 6 will not look as it usually does -- such as the above scene from 2019 with carolers in the museum -- but there will be some events between 4-6 p.m. Lights on five honor trees are being sold for $10 each, and the trees will be lit at 6 p.m. after all the names have been read. There will be hayrides and a bonfire, and refreshments including hot cider and cookies, but Santa Claus will not be able to make a visit this year due to COVID-19 concerns.
