Heart Saver CPR class
The Dorchester Community Emergency Services and Abbotsford Ambulance Service will sponsor a free Heart Saver CPR class Monday, May 19, at 6 p.m. in the Dorchester Fire Hall. Pre-registration is required by contacting John Staab at 654-5088.

Downtown clean-up
The annual Abbotsford downtown clean-up will be held Tuesday, May 20, starting at 5:30 p.m. Volunteers will meet at city hall and are asked to bring weed sprayers, rakes and brooms if possible. For more information contact Kris O’Leary at 223-2342.

Musical performance
The Clark County Health Care Center will host harpist and vocalist Sara Sarazin from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, at the multipurpose room. Refreshments will be served, and the public is invited to attend.

Kohl office hours
U.S. Senator Herb Kohl’s regional representative, Marjorie Bunce, will be in Abbotsford Friday, May 23, to meet with constituents. Bunce is Kohl’s representative in northwest Wisconsin. She will be at the Abbotsford city hall from 3-4 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Christmas Parade
The Abbotsford Christmas Parade Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be held at Pizza at noon Tuesday, May 20. Contact parade co-chairmen Kris O’Leary or Kevin Flink to sponsor a float or participate in the parade. For more information call Kris or Kevin at 223-2342.

CPL game days
Colby Public Library will hold game days for seniors the third Friday and second Tuesday of each month. The next game day will be held Friday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. in the community room of the Colby city hall.

Colby Chamber
The Colby Chamber of Commerce will meet Monday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. at Community Bank of Central Wisconsin. Cheese Days activities will be the main item on the agenda.

Abby school board
The School District of Abbotsford Board of Education will meet Monday, May 19, at 7 p.m. at Abbotsford High School.

Colby school board
The School District of Colby Board of Education will meet Monday, May 19, at 8 p.m. at the district education center.

Abby city council
The Abbotsford city council will hold a special meeting Wednesday, May 14, starting at 7 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.

The community calendar is to provide a list of meetings or programs of interest to the public, such as community groups and organizations, local government and school boards, and youth groups.
If a fee is charged for services or products, it is advertising and must be placed in an advertisement. A listing may be placed in the dinners/fundraisers section as an addition to a paid advertisement.
