Says writer needs support for stand on gays
In reviewing Todd Peissig's letter to The Star News, I think Candice Riley needs some support.
In the "overhauling of Straight America," homosexual authors set out strategies for homosexuals.
1. Portray homosexuals as victims.
2. Make homosexuals look good.
3. Make the victimizers look bad.
Mr. Peissig certainly follows those dictates even to the point of major factual errors that he must know are not true. He asserts that homosexuals are born that way. Lesbian author and activist, Dr. Camilie Paglia wrote "No one is born gay. The idea is ridiculous."
One way of making homosexuals look good was to create the name "gay" in lieu of homosexual.
Peissig asserts that 5 percent to 10 percent of people are "gay." He must know that is a falsehood which cannot be substantiated. The 10 percent estimate came from Alfred Kinsey whose estimate was never scientifically proven. Dr. Judith Reisman studied Kinsey and his claims and determined that the actual incidence of homosexuals in the United States was no more than 1 percent to 2 percent.
I am sure that Mrs. Riley's letter said nothing about hate or discrimination.
Mr. Peissig created this and went on to "laugh" at her and accuse her of naivity.
He talks about the leadership of Representative Barney Frank who allowed a male prostitute to operate out of his Washington, D.C. home.
He talks about the leadership of lesbian Representative Tammy Baldwin. She has been a leader in pushing the "hate crimes law" in Congress. Many people regard this law as an attack against Christians based on how the Canadian law has been applied in Canada. There a minister was convicted of a criminal offense because he mentioned the Bible contents in a sermon.
In my opinion, Baldwin's leadership should reflect the views of 90 percent of the population (Mr. Peissig's position) or of 98 percent of the population (my position). Instead she votes in accord with the views of her out of Wisconsin contributors.
I do not think there would be any gaping holes in the world if heterosexual candidates replaced Frank and Baldwin in Congress. In fact, Wisconsin did very well for most of its history with a criminal law making sodomy a criminal offense. Maybe the legislature should vote to restore that law making sodomy a violation of law.
Todd Peissig wants diversity. Does diversity mean freedom of expression for and against sodomy or not?

Says airport letting property go to waste
Several weeks ago we drove past the Taylor County Airport property, formerly a farm that we used to own. The large metal shed was retained by the county for its own use and the rest of the buildings were destroyed or removed. We noticed that one of the sliding doors on the north end of the shed was off the track. I recall rehanging and reclamping the door by myself in 10 to 15 minutes: Today we drove past it again and both doors are off the track and obviously bent out of shape. While it would have been a simple repair job to fix one door weeks ago, it was neglected and now it is a big job. How much time, manpower and money will it take to fix it now?

Tanis agrees with Osolkowski about something
Linda Osolkowski wrote last week on the obscene level of spending by our federal government. I agree! Career politicians like Dave Obey, Herb Kohl, and Russ Feingold are spending us into slavery. Throw the bums out in November!

Says while he may sound bizarre, New Agers are worse
The last time my writing got the Australians’ attention was when New Paradigm Journal re-printed an article from my web site entitled the Militarization of the Alliance of Civilizations (available at pineline.blogspot.com). To their credit, the journal’s editors were awakened to the hidden dangers associated with conscious evolution.  New Paradigm is one of several journals devoted to conscious evolution, an occult doctrine which calls for the joining up and transcendence of a “collective whole.” The desired evolutionary outcome is the social transformation of one-half of the earth’s population into an advanced species or super human race.
Responding to Australian correspondent Bob Becker, you clearly have missed several of the gems Osolkowski has shared with this community over the years. It hadn’t escaped my attention when she claimed a superior belief systems rooted in sound logic: one of goddess worship and evolution. She revealed this after extensively ridiculing Christianity and political conservatives. Evolution is a core doctrine in goddess cosmology. Its multiple variations teach that the “divine feminine” has guided humanity through an evolutionary process throughout the ages. Its final outcome is one of a transcendent humanity through the process of conscious evolution. I personally believe Osolkowski understands this doctrine.  So long as she regularly and scornfully ridicules others who express a Christian belief system and attempts to build the case for it being one of extremism, I will engage in that debate.
Regarding the “inter-galactic star” which the Theosophists claim has signaled the emergence of Maitreya, the political-spiritual leader for the new world order, your relegation of it to Shirley MacLaine reflects political ignorance.
Where ever would MacLaine have gotten the notion to expect:  1) a system of global governance and the creation of a new civilization; 2) a messianic leader for the new civilization; and 3) a world leader who will guide the new civilization through Karmageddon (i.e., conscious evolution; killing).
MacLaine is merely one among millions who has adopted this ideology. It is not surprising because new age themes have permeated society. The ideology is more prevalently found in book stores’ Christian, Health, and Inspirational sections than in the new age section. Popular talk shows such as Oprah whose broadcasts regularly feature new age themes (Eckart Tolle’s New Earth seminars for example) further illustrates of how the ideology is advanced. In her book the Aquarian Conspiracy Marilyn Ferguson wrote that there are “tens of thousands” of entry points into the new age. The common thread is participants are encouraged to practice meditation and induce self-hypnotic states. So Mr. Becker, your attempt to marginalize this movement’s reach is completely inaccurate.
The Alliance of Civilizations is now the “mother tongue” of the United Nations system. Its high level group members cooperate significantly with Lucis Trust and Share International. These organizations point to the Alliance as the vehicle which will activate conscious evolution. Share acts as a central mouth-piece for the emergence of “Maitreya the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom.” Share not only proclaimed that the “inter-galactic star” had signaled Maitreya’s emergence, recent press releases claim he has started his ministry and that 2010 is to be a time of global social re-engineering. (I wonder how the Massachusetts voters would respond to this.) According to Share, although Maitreya has not yet announced his identity, he will do so on a worldwide television broadcast. At that time, he is expected to telepathically speak to his followers after inducing them into hypnotic states. The danger associated with self-induced hypnotism becomes clear when considering this material. These extremely kooky “inter-galactic” spiritual doctrines are visible within the United Nations at the highest levels. They have also been adopted by many politicians throughout the world. Domestically, one only need look at State Department’s Wayne Peterson as exhibit A.
Since Australia is among the Alliance of Civilization’s group of friends and New Zealand an implementation partner, Mr. Becker will find this ideology has moved right into his own backyard. Whether or not this concerns you perhaps depends on your thoughts about social re-engineering and your positions on the preservation of a free press, free speech, freedom of political and religious thought all of which the Alliance seeks to abridge.
As a critic of the new age movement and global governance, much of what I write may often sound bizarre. Yet that is the nature of this movement. It has been given clout by global politics and as history bares out, the doctrines are not new to the mystery empires. A most recent example of the Theosophical doctrine put into practice can be found in Nazism. As a critic, my position is that if they have the nerve to say it, I have the nerve to repeat it.
Regarding that strong s### in this part of the world, I concur. It must be extremely powerful stuff for Osolkowski to admit gazing into her commode and examining its contents. But that is the same matter which originates from her pen.

Asks ‘What about Jean?’ on second anniversary of murder
On January 29 Jean Viken (Schreiner) was murdered two years ago. Did you hear that Taylor County? Murdered. How long does it take to solve her murder? How long do her family and friends have to wait before the murderer, is behind bars? Why don't you tell her family where this case stands? Why is everything so hush hush? Why is everyone that is willing to help her family, always all of a sudden not able to help them? This really makes me wonder. If it takes longer than two years to solve a case tell her family and the public why. At least quit shutting her family out.
