The lifetime achievement award will also be presented the evening of May 1.
Candidates should include someone who has “devoted a lifetime to supporting Medford and its ever changing and growing community by his or her business or volunteerism.”
The criteria for this award are similar to those for the person of the year with the addition that the services and activities should span a lifetime.
In addition, the committee will also be making selections for the J.A. O’Leary Memorial Wall. This award is in memory of O’Leary, a man that selflessly dedicated his life to helping the community to better itself. Through his hard work and volunteerism, he made the Medford community and surrounding area a better place to live and work.
Candidates for this award are chosen based on their dedication to the community and their work ethic.
The candidates must have also been taken from the community during the midst of their service.
Employee excellence awards will be presented as well to those individuals who have displayed outstanding work ethic, and have gone beyond the call of duty. Candidates for this award may be nominated by community members or employers.
Milestone awards will also be presented to those area businesses celebrating anniversaries in increments of 25 years.
