State law requires that legal publications are published in a paid circulation publication (such as The Star News) as opposed to a free distribution publication (such as The Shopper). There is nothing preventing you from running your legal publication in The Shopper in addition to The Star News. See Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 985 for a more detailed account.
Liquor license ads cost $6.00 per license.
Affidavits are provided with a copy of the ad for an additional $1.00 charge.
The deadline for placing a legal ad in The Star News is Monday at 5:00 p.m.
If you do not have an account with The Star News, ads must be paid for in advance.
